General
By placing an order you are agreeing to statements below and will be held accountable if broken. If you have a question about statements below feel free to ask me.■ For serious inquires, Only contact me on Instagram or Discord (izzykings).■ I have the right to decline or cancel a commission at any time. I expect to be treated with kindness and respect, any inappropriate behavior will prevent you from purchasing a commission or design.■ I will not take a commission from empty or new accounts.■ All commissions are done with artistic liberty, I may not send WIPs but will if requested. Commission will be listed in my Trello where you can see my queue.■ Completion time can vary from 1 day to 3 months depending on list, commission complexity and my free time. If there are any delays I will message you.
Payment
■ Payments (USD) are through Ko-fi and CashApp. Kofi uses Paypal, and stripe (other cards), you do not need a kofi account to send payment. I wont start working on the commission unless the price has been fully paid.■ I do not refund for any reason. This is my ONLY source of income and do not have the ability to do so. DO NOT offer money you don’t have or shouldn’t spend.■ If a charge back was made at any time before or after commission process you will not be able to purchase anything from me in the future.■ Rush fees can be made for commissions needed within a week. I will NOT take commissions needed in a day without a fee. Commission will be completed once fee is paid. Rush fee is 50-100% of base commission price.■ If I make a mistake I will make changes to fix it. I will NOT change pose, or larger edits once commission is more than half done. If you would like a large change a fee may be taken depending on the commission and change ( 25-50% of base price).

■ I own authorship of all my art and images. I am able to use my artwork for promotion, such as posting it on social media or using it as my examples of work. Tell me beforehand if you do not want your commission posted. I will not delete already posted work on most socials.■ You are not allowed to use/display my art on external sites unless you’ve visibly credited me. Do not remove my watermark or signature.■ You may NOT use my art for commercial use. Commercial licenses must be discussed with me before payment is made.■ My art may NOT be used in AI of NFTs.

I’m Izzy but I like to go by Iz or Kings. I’m a 23 year old queer Mexican American living in the country side of Illinois with my cat, Freya and my boyfriend, Fuz.My main focus is to improve my art style and make enough to support my family. Due to my disabilities my boyfriend helps me on my worst days and takes me to appointments. Throughout the past 5 years I have lost the ability to drive, work or go out for longer than 30mins due to pain and overstimulation.I am a slow artist that needs multiple rests throughout my process. for smaller pieces i usually get it done that day but larger work may take me a couple weeks. Because of this I made a patreon and ko-fi to show my progress and share tips I’ve learned. I also want to help other disabled artists and share what i do that's helped me.I work primarily with anthropomorphic character commissions and character designs. I would like to stop taking commissions and work on my worldbuilding projects, making original characters and make more original art or fan art.I’ve always been scared of making fan art due to the “thats not cannon” people. My early internet experience I was bullied off rpg’s and made fun of for making emo/sparkle dogs or liking warrior cats. Now I’m reconnecting with my inner child and falling back in love with the things i used to. ■ All transactions are USD made via Ko-fi (paypal/stripe) or CashApp. You do NOT need a kofi account to make a payment.■ Once you purchase a design from me with the agreed-upon amount and I transfer the design via Toyhouse, the design is yours. The same terms apply if you offer art or characters in exchange for my designs.■ Don’t waste my time, do NOT offer for a design and then never follow up or message back. If this is a repeatable offense (up to 3 times) I will not accept any future offers from you.■ Do NOT offer money you don’t have or shouldn’t spend. I don’t take refunds. ■ You may change the design in any way and use it in free content, as long as the design is still recognizable from the original. ASK ME before you use personal designs in commercial work.■ Do NOT upsell my design purely to make a profit of my work, if you are selling it with additional art you may increase selling price.■ Do NOT delete purchased designs on Toyhouse. I use Toyhouse to keep track of my designs. You may hide or restrict users from viewing your character but leave them so that I can at least see them.■ Do NOT turn original characters into a species. Each design is made as their own character.
■ You may NOT claim my artwork or original design as your own. You have bought the design but not the authorship. Authorship will always belong to the artist.
■ Do NOT remove my waterwarks or signatures. If my design is used in commercial work I require proper credits.■ Do NOT claim any design that you haven’t bought as your own. What do you use to draw and what brushes?- I’m currently using procreate on the 2020 Ipad pro 11in. hopefully I can upgrade soon due to the low storage and screen pixels dying. I’d like to get a 12in. ipad.- The line brush I use is from COFE’s pencil brush pack, the procreate pencil remake, the procreate HB preset brush for shading and I have been experimenting with an ink brush The Elder 3.0 from GeorgeBrush comic ink set. I used to use dry ink, and gouche paint brush in the presents but found that I prefer the sketchy look than the crisp lines.https://ghkim0045.gumroad.com

I do have other socials like cara, and deviant art but I rarely post there.Can I take insperation from you?- I don't mind others taking inspiration from my art. Although I haven't done much Original art so most recent work are of other peoples ocs. Just keep in mind that inspiration does not equal coping. I just ask that you be respectful when taking inspiration.What do you use to keep your characters?- I keep my characters on Toyhouse. Its a character trading and storing website. You do need a code to join and for future characters I make I will be requiring clients to have an account to store my designs, I have codes for others to use. I have lost older designs and due to people not following my Terms of Serves I would like to keep them organized somewhere.What do you use write on?- I have a cheap school note book I use when researching ideas for designs with a mechanical pencil, highlighters, small colored sticky notes, and red and black pens. I’m a visual person.
- I use a laptop (its my boyfriends gaming one so idk speciffics) and my ipad to type. My laptop throughout the day and my ipad when its late at night.
- I currently use Notion, an app and website, to write drafts and ideas as well as keep my content calendar on it. I love the ability to click and drag paragraphs and photos without copy and pasting.
- For world building and larger writings I use OneNotes from microsoft mostly cause of the tabs on the sides. I can also add images easier than notion. I might switch to docs/word for the final pieces. I’m used to word due to collage but either works.
- Note: Both can be used on the ipad but OneNote can be glitchy/laggy depending how much things are on it.How do I commission you?- I primary only take commissions on Ko-fi commissions tab just to keep everything organized and in one place. Its neater and keeps them separated from donations/shop sales. Plus can give discount codes as well as easily open/close and edit my commissions.What is your main inspiration?- I take a lot of inspiration from movies and books from my childhood. Land before time, The last unicorn, Jurassic park, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Game of Thrones, Wings of Fire, Inkheart to list a couple. As well as a couple youtubers who make One of a kind art dolls like Martyna Kolenic, and animated shorts like Dead Sound.
- When I design a new creature or character I use different aesthetics and mix animal poses/features with different jobs. I used to make sketches of mixed animals by picking 2-3 different animals from a big animal dictionary book i used to have. Now I just use Pinterest to save images and look up animals or jobs on google.What are your characters used for?- I used to make random characters just out of boredom and make up stories about them.
- Now I am working on a dragon/unicorn universe. Its my first worldbuilding project that i’ve kept in my head for about 3 years now. Why dragons and unicorns? I just like drawing them and they’re my favorite creature. It’s mostly a hobby project but I’d like for people to role play, and have fun within the world.
- My main inspiration for my project is House of Dragons and the fact that I reread Wings of Fire and getting into Fourth Wing. It’s an escape from reality, something to keep me busy.what makes you disabled?- I’ve gotten this question a couple times, I know some people don’t like this question but I don’t mind answering it. I like sharing my experiences in hopes of helping others with similar experiences.
- I have/diagnosed with: Autism & ADHD, Arthritis (hips, knees ankles, wrists, fingers), Osteopenia (bone density lose), neuropathic pain (damaged nerves), GI issues, Chromic Migraines, Chronic fatigue, Dysautonomia (POTs?) and Carpal tunnel (both hands).
- I have a lot of smaller symptoms associated with my conditions that make doing most things difficult.
- I am still in the process of finding the cause and treatment plan for most of my issues.What mobility aids do you use?- For art specifically: I use a large pencil grip on my apple pencil and sit in bed with hard pillows to support my legs when i’m sitting. I have been recommended a full body pillow and would like to save for one. Through out the day i also use ice packs for migraines, heat pad for pain and i’m almost always in a blanket.- Throughout the day I’m supposed to use my compression gloves and socks due to blood pooling and nerve damage. I don’t always wear my gloves because they get in the way and i find it harder to hold onto things. I also need to get thinner compression socks for summer (it gets 90+ and humidity makes it worse). I also use KT tape to help support my joints from over use.- I currently use a cane for stabilization to reduce pain in my knees and support when walking. it was $20 and I needed it when I still worked 2 jobs. I use it like a crutch, with the handle forward instead of back. I have been told about forearm crutches and I would like to get a smartcrutch, rollator or wheelchair to help reduce joint pain, fatigue and muscle weakness or when I get lightheaded. I only use my cane when i’m out and try not to be out too long. Throughout the house I use my walls and my boyfriend for support.- When I sleep I wear wrist braces with metal supports that let my fingers and thumb be free. This is because I bend my wrists and sleep with “t-rex arms” (term my neurologist said) which pinches nerves. I ONLY wear them at night, wearing them during the day can cause the muscle to weaken (my hand strength is already weak) but thats what I was told for carpal tunnel condition.
